Yellow and black girl puppies available

Friday, September 12:  Chili welcomed 7 black and yellow puppies on Friday! This is our first breeding with Chili and she is proving a FANTASTIC momma already! She is a fun loving sweet independent girl....with personality in spades! While her big square head is more fit for a boy, we love her anyway and really excited for what she will produce as she is a substantial girl. Our hope is Toby adds coat and height to the puppies in this litter and puppies are sure to have both Chili and Toby's typical Lab nature! LilyWings Hawt Chili Dawg "Chili" to Ch Labralaynes Toblerone

Nov. 20 There are two (2) puppies available from Chili's litter. CONTACT NICHOLE TODAY to add one of these fantastic puppers to your family! Their brothers and sister have gone to their loving families and they are ready for their own!

  • "Wendy" Black female, 12 weeks old -- bold, curious and joyful! This happy confident girl will excel in a busy environment. She is a smarty pants and will be a fun partner for an active owner, even a sports partner in rally, obedience or some recreational hunting!

  • "Pinkie Pie" Yellow female, 12 weeks old -- A special PRETTY puppy with excellant conformation, a fun and slightly mischievous puppy! This girl was our first pick of the litter we were retaining as a show and breeding prospect that I have decided to place after discovering she is missing a hind toe! She will make an excellant partner and has an otherwise clean bill of health!

These puppies are all well started on house training, crate training and ready for their own families to carry on their education to fantastic partners!

Investment: Pets are $2600 (incl GST) with CKC non breeding registration, veterinary health exam, age appropriate vaccines and deworming, trial pet insurance, microchip, food to go home, lifetime breeder support.

Parents are health tested and all our breeding bitches have passed their OFA hips and elbow radiographs, echocardiogram of their hearts, genetic screening via Orivet (previously PawPrint/Neogen) and have their eyes screened annually. We look for similar level of health testing in our stud dogs that we choose in Canada or the US.

We do not sell puppies for breeding stock, only as pets, companions and partners.

Older Puppies and Adults Looking for Partner Homes:
We have been privileged to keep our breeding girls and up and coming girls at home with us but with life changing, we are now seeking partner homes for some of our treasured girls...and our future puppies.

Moe, 1.5 year old yellow female - available

LilyWings Darling Lost Girl: Moe is from our 2024 Beth x Rowdy litter and is available to a partner home that will keep throwing the ball for her! Moe is energetic, responsive and LOVES her people. She enjoys carrying around...literally anything...and is quite a chewer so a consistent supply of chewies is required by this princess! Moe is very close to her championship and will continue showing towards her Grand Championship while she matures, completes her health testing as part of her evaluation to have her own puppies in 2026 or 2027. An ideal partner home is in the Edmonton area, willing to work with us to ensure Moe stays in show condition (specific diet, conditioning and minimal grooming), is available for shows (with advance notice of course!) and health testing so she can return to LilyWing when its her turn to be a momma. Moe would suit a variety of families and while she is fine with other dogs, I do think she would really enjoy being an only 4 legged child!

Stella, 7 month old yellow female - available

Well, I'm not quite ready to give Stella up to a partner home, but I could be convinced if the right match came along! Stella our last keeper puppy from Judith and she is by the lovely "Preston". She is SUPER SWEET, smart and energetic, showing a keen willingness to please with confidence and boldness. Stella would make a fun low level sport partner, or hunting companion also.

What is a partner home? It's a home whose family is the primary caretakes of the show puppy and agrees to allow us to continue showing and assessing a puppy while it matures to see if it is a suitable breeding candidate. This includes showing it until it has a CKC Championship (sometimes a weekend or two...sometimes many weekends away with Nichole!), having the dog available for health testing when needed and then breeding when it is time. Girls that would move on to be mommas would come back to Nichole for 2.5-3 months to have and raise puppies. It can be a fun way to be part of the process...without all the expense and work! And you get a show dog at a significantly reduced cost!

What I expect of partner homes:

  • Love the puppy/dog as your own!

  • Set clear boundaries, including crate training -- important for a settled dog at a busy show environment!

  • Basic puppy obedience and socialization -- getting out in public often! Showing also helps with this!

  • Keep the puppy/dog on specific food (either Purina Proplan 30/20 Salmon and Rice OR Royal Canin Large Breed Puppy)

  • Keeping the puppy/dog fit and in "show condition"

  • Avoid over grooming/bathing (limited bathing and brushing! We want big beautiful full coats! Yes that does mean more vacuuming)

  • Keeping them intact until mutual agreement

What I would provide:

  • Home away from home - puppies/dogs can come back to board, or girls can come back when in heat if the family doesn't want to manage that

  • Annual health exam, vaccines and dewormers at my vet (including distemper combo, rabies and bordetella)

  • Special repro food for breeding girls while in heat/pregnant (otherwise food is the responsibility of the partner home)

  • Plus the regular benefits of a LilyWing puppy!

Interest piqued?! Contact Nichole to talk more.  A good fit and clear expectations are important for everyone!
